Last week we started our study on time loops. We learned that time is not linear, but it is circular. We have times and seasons that loop every year. Today I am going to share with you a story about a time loop I discovered over my daughter’s life.

Testimony Time

On March 23rd, my oldest daughter and I were out driving. And, by the way, she has given me permission to tell this story. Her driving was flawless. We were running some errands and pulled into the Home Depot parking lot. My daughter turned into a parking spot, suddenly became super confused, and hit a parked Toyota Tacoma on its back right bumper with our front left bumper. She freaked out, and I got angry, not at her, but at the ensuing cost and time we’d have to spend getting everything fixed.

Well, I calmed down, and she calmed down, especially when a friend just happened to call right then and prayed over her. My daughter and I talked about God’s grace, we cheered up, put a note on the Tacoma, bought our goods at Home Depot, and went to an empty parking lot to practice driving some more.

That night, I put in the insurance claim online, and I noticed another claim from 3/23. I thought, “Is this a duplicate claim?” No, actually, it was a claim from 3/23/2023, exactly 2 years earlier. The accident from 2023 occurred in a similar way, with my daughter driving before all her training, and she just happened to turn right into a bolder, damaging the front left bumper area of our car. Same turn, same damage, same driver, exactly 2 years earlier.

I showed my daughter, and we looked at each other with that “knowing” look. This was no coincidence! I’ve pretty much stopped believing in coincidences, especially as the Lord continues to show us all of the spiritual underpinnings for everything.

So then, you know, as an engineer, I thought to myself, “I wonder what happened on 3/23/24, 3/23/22, 3/23/21, etc…”

Fortunately, I’ve been documenting my spiritual journey since 2019, so I have records that go back several years.

In both 2022 and 2024, on 3/23, I had major visions from the Lord about judgment and deliverance. Things shifted after those dates in good ways. My daughter also experienced a vision or dream like that in 2024.

In 2021, I wrote down prayer requests, one was for my youngest daughter, who was sick and throwing up. But then I remembered that another friend sent a message that same day, on 3/23/2025 that her son was sick and throwing up.

Now, just today, I decided to look up what happened in 2020. I had a vision of Jesus leading me up to the top of a mountain. On the top was a playground that grew into an amusement park, complete with merry-go-rounds, swings that moved in circles, and roller coasters with loops. These were all positive, as if the Lord was pointing me to His fun time loops being overlaid on the spiritual mountain of authority in my life.

Back on 3/23/2025, after we discovered this, our good friend called, and I told her all I had just discovered. She recommended praying through the Infinity Loop Prayer, which is the last prayer in Dan Duval’s third prayer book, “Extreme Prayers That Shake Heaven and Earth.” I prayed through it with her and the family, including several others in the prayer. We all felt as though something had shifted in the spiritual environment.

That week, our friends started experiencing breakthroughs. One got a promotion, another had free car repairs done and got a new phone. Another family has had a tremendous financial breakthrough, and we got a nice raise and bonus as well.

Why?

Why do I tell you about this testimony and all of the interesting things that happened on 3/23? Because it was such an incredible teaching example of time loops.

I’m pretty sure that we all have, or had, evil time loops overlaid onto portions of our lives. And in exposing these evil time loops, I believe the Lord is wanting deliverance for His Church in a major way.

Now lest anyone think I’m just making this stuff up, let me show you the time loops in the Bible. We already saw the literal loops of time that the Lord set up when He created the Heavens. But let’s look at evil time loops and then cycles of blessings over people’s lives, and then we’ll end with the cycles of the Messiah and finally a prayer of deliverance from evil time lines, time loops, and time wheels.

Evil Time Loops

One of the best examples of evil time loops is found in the book of Judges.

Judges

The writer of Judges gives us some insight as to why these cycles started to happen. Twice he writes:

“In those days there was no king in Israel. Everyone did what was right in his own eyes.” Judges 17:6 (ESV)

“In those days there was no king in Israel. Everyone did what was right in his own eyes.” Judges 21:25 (ESV) (*last verse of Judges*)

In other places in Judges, it states “there was no king in Israel.”

In chapter 1, the children of Israel were supposed to drive out all the evil inhabitants of their land, but we see them unsuccessful in this task, and we see wheels show up:

“And the LORD was with Judah, and he took possession of the hill country, but he could not drive out the inhabitants of the plain because they had chariots of iron [think: wheels].” Judges 1:19 (ESV) (brackets mine)

Then the author shows all the other places were disobedience and failure took place:

“Manasseh did not drive out the inhabitants… When Israel grew strong, they put the Canaanites to forced labor, but did not drive them out completely. And Ephraim did not drive out the Canaanites… Zebulun did not drive out the inhabitants… Asher did not drive out the inhabitants… …for they did not drive them out. Naphtali did not drive out the inhabitants… ” Judges 1:27-33 (ESV)

This disobedience and failure created a cycle of sin and destruction that plagued the people in that time. They compromised and worshiped false gods and idols instead of the One True God.

Samson

A great example of compromise comes from Samson, who enjoyed the Lord’s supernatural strength from the Lord as long as he let his hair grow, again a cycle related to time.

But we see in the story of Delilah, how he made compromise after compromise, and it cost him.

Listen to this:

“After this he loved a woman in the Valley of Sorek, whose name was Delilah [name means “feeble”, compromise #1]. And the lords of the Philistines came up to her and said to her, “Seduce him, and see where his great strength lies, and by what means we may overpower him, that we may bind him to humble him. And we will each give you 1,100 pieces of silver.”

So Delilah said to Samson, “Please tell me where your great strength lies, and how you might be bound, that one could subdue you.” [Compromise #2] Samson said to her, “If they bind me with seven fresh bowstrings that have not been dried, then I shall become weak and be like any other man.” Then the lords of the Philistines brought up to her seven fresh bowstrings that had not been dried, and she bound him with them [loops]. Now she had men lying in ambush in an inner chamber. And she said to him, “The Philistines are upon you, Samson!” But he snapped the bowstrings, as a thread of flax snaps when it touches the fire. So the secret of his strength was not known.

Then Delilah said to Samson, “Behold, you have mocked me and told me lies. Please tell me how you might be bound.” [Compromise #3] And he said to her, “If they bind me with new ropes that have not been used, then I shall become weak and be like any other man.” So Delilah took new ropes and bound him [loops] with them and said to him, “The Philistines are upon you, Samson!” And the men lying in ambush were in an inner chamber. But he snapped the ropes off his arms like a thread.

Then Delilah said to Samson, “Until now you have mocked me and told me lies. Tell me how you might be bound.” [Compromise #4] And he said to her, “If you weave [loop] the seven locks [braids, interleaved loops] of my head with the web and fasten it tight with the pin, then I shall become weak and be like any other man.” So while he slept, Delilah took the seven locks of his head and wove them into the web. And she made them tight with the pin and said to him, “The Philistines are upon you, Samson!” But he awoke from his sleep and pulled away the pin, the loom, and the web.

And she said to him, “How can you say, ‘I love you,’ when your heart is not with me? You have mocked me these three times [time loop], and you have not told me where your great strength lies.” And when she pressed him hard with her words day after day, and urged him, his soul was vexed to death. [Compromise #5] And he told her all his heart, and said to her, “A razor has never come upon my head, for I have been a Nazirite to God from my mother’s womb. If my head is shaved, then my strength will leave me, and I shall become weak and be like any other man.” When Delilah saw that he had told her all his heart, she sent and called the lords of the Philistines, saying, “Come up again, for he has told me all his heart.”

Then the lords of the Philistines came up to her and brought the money [circles of silver] in their hands. She made him sleep on her knees. And she called a man and had him shave off the seven locks of his head. Then she began to torment him [witchcraft], and his strength left him. And she said, “The Philistines are upon you, Samson!” And he awoke from his sleep and said, “I will go out as at other times and shake myself free.” But he did not know that the LORD had left him. And the Philistines seized him and gouged out his eyes [circles of vision] and brought him down to Gaza and bound him with bronze shackles [loops]. And he ground at the mill [loops] in the prison. But the hair of his head began to grow again after it had been shaved. [God’s time loop restarted]” Judges 16:4-22 (ESV) (emphasis added) (words in brackets mine)

Pretty crazy story, huh? Especially when you see the time loop component involved. At every opportunity, Samson compromised and failed, and slowly but surely, the blessings that he enjoyed from the Lord were stolen and stripped away from him. This is a pattern of what the devil wants for the Church. The devil would love to see us compromise over and over so that his evil time loop can be inserted over us, and our spiritual blessings can be stolen and used for evil.

In Samson’s case, his eyes were gouged, he was made fun of, and he had to mill the grain by walking in circles, reinforcing the evil time loop in his life.

But there’s hope! His hair started to grow, which is indicative of God’s time loop restarting in Samson’s life. And in the end, he sacrificed his life for the people of God, representing God’s Messiah-to-Come.

Jesus

And speaking of Jesus, the devil visited him 3 times to tempt him. (Matthew 4, Luke 4, Mark 1) Unlike Samson, Jesus did not compromise and did not let the devil overlay the evil time loop upon his life. And in doing so, Jesus showed us the pattern of overcoming temptations to compromise – use the Sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God.

Do you have a destructive habit or cycle or time loop in your life? Apply the Word of God to it over and over and over. And you will see this loop broken in your life.

The Fall of Jericho

In fact, before the time of the Judges when Joshua had taken over leadership of the nation of Israel from Moses, the Lord gave Joshua a battle strategy involving time loops. (Joshua 6)

This city was evil and filled with evil and had huge walls that were impenetrable, a fortress and stronghold of the enemy in the Promised Land. God gave Joshua a plan to conquer it. He told Joshua to march around the city, in a loop, once a day for 6 days. A time loop. Then, on the 7th day, He told Joshua to march around the city 7 times. This was a Heavenly strategy for conquering the evil stronghold of the enemy: 6 times in a loop over 6 days, 7 times in a loop on the 7th day.

And we know what happened: the walls fell miraculously, the city was taken for the Lord, and Rahab was spared for her help. This broke the cycles of evil in Rahab’s life, for she joined the Israelites and became the great-great-grandmother of King David.

Namaan the Syrian

And who remembers the story of Namaan the Syrian? He had the incurable disease of leprosy, and his Jewish servant girl said he could be healed. (2 Kings 5) He visited Elisha the prophet, who told him to dip in the Jordan river 7 times. He thought this was a stupid idea but was convinced to at least try it. And we see that God’s prescriptive time loop in his life led to his physical healing. It didn’t happen on the 5th or 6th dip in the river, but only after the 7th. Sometimes we just quit too early, don’t you think?

We are going to pause here for today. Join me next week as we take a look at God’s time loops.
